There are 2 fantastic pubs in the village which offer home-cooked food and a friendly welcome.

Gainsborough Lodge- Gainsborough Lodge is conveniently situated only five minutes from Gatwick Airport. An extended Edwardian House with 16 rooms and bungalow annex of 14 rooms. Family run set in half-acre garden. Long term car park available on the premises per day. We have a free phone courtesy pick up point at the airport, available from 9:00am - 11:00pm, which runs every 30 minutes on the hour & half hour when requested. A taxi is GBP 5.00 outside of these hours. Horley Town Centre is a five minute walk away and offers Indian, Italian, Spanish & Chinese food, pizza, fish & chips and four pubs. Evening meals are not provided, but guests are invited to use our Conservatory dining room for take-aways. Unfortunately, the guest house does not have a lift.

Blue Bells Hotel- This 18th-century Victorian building has a superb central location in Notting Hill. The famous Portobello Road and market are just 5 minutes away. Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and High Street Kensington are 10 minutes from the hotel, and Hyde Park and Holland Park are within easy walking distance. The Blue Bells has good transport links to the major airports and train stations. There are plenty of buses to the very heart of central London and the West End. Notting Hill Gate London Underground Station is less than 5 minutes' walk away. Please note that the hotel does not have a lift.

Rowcroft Lodge- Rowcroft Lodge has a super quiet location overlooking Goodrington Park with clear views from the balcony to the sea, and Brixham in the distance. Lord Nelson's flag officers stayed here in the late 1700s. The lounge Bar and some of the rooms have wonderful sea views.
