The Manor- The Manor is a beautiful Grade II listed historic house located minutes from Stonehenge and not far from Bath and Salisbury. In the kitchen, local produce is used as much as possible to give a complete country-house experience.

The York Hotel- The York Hotel is a contemporary cafe bar with 7 delightful en suite bedrooms. The hotel benefits from free car parking, home-cooked meals and friendly staff. The York Hotel has a bar and disco open until 01:00 on Thursdays, and until 03:00 on Friday and Saturday.

George and Dragon- This 18th-century inn in the picturesque Chiltern Hills offers good dining and quirky, traditional bedrooms. The inn is close to the Hellfire Caves and West Wycombe Park. Reach the inn through a cobbled archway, as many traders and travellers have done for generations. Enjoy attentive service and a large garden with a children's play area. On the menu, George & Dragon serves local game, English cheeses, traditional puddings and lamb from the local estate. Well-kept Real Ales are available. Bedrooms are comfortable and interesting. All have the uneven floorboards and unusual features that come with age, in addition to Sky TV and an en suite bathroom.

Firgarth Guest House- This elegant Victorian house, built in Lakeland stone around 1875, offers views to the rear over Wynlass Beck, along with comfortable en suite rooms, a residents' lounge and private parking. Firgarth Guest House is conveniently situated just 12 minutes' walk from the centre of Windermere, which offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The guest house has a great location, between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness. It is a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced bed and breakfast, situated in the number one location within the English Lake District National Park: Windermere. The guest lounge is comfortable, with plenty of books and information on local walks, as well as a selection of games to keep you amused in the evenings. The traditional breakfast menu is all freshly prepared. There is a choice of orange juice, grapefruit, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurt and a variety of cooked-to-order breakfasts. The guest house is regretfully unable to accept any arrivals after 20:00.

The Red Cow - Guest House- A few minutes' walk from Richmond town centre and rail/Tube stations, the cosy, popular Red Cow is a restored inn offering home-cooked bar food and comfortable accommodation. The Red Cow has a history that dates back to the early 19th century. Although recently refurbished, many of the original features, including wonderful glassworks, have been retained. Richmond Station has frequent rail services to Central London, and the Tube station is connected to the District Line and London Overground Line.

Plumpton Court- Dating back to the 17th century, Plumpton Court is a small, homely B&B with hotel-style services. The building has been lovingly restored, and the en suite rooms have a traditional country style. Each room has a hospitality tray, radio, TV with Freeview and a hairdryer. Roslyns- Set in the heart of Little Easton, a couple of miles from the thriving market town of Great Dunmow, Roslyns is surrounded by beautiful countryside as well as being convenient for Stansted Airport, London and Cambridge. Built around 1876, Roslyns was formerly the village school and has been renovated and refurbished by its present owners, Peter and Clare, who offer a warm welcome to their home. Roslyns offers 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms, one of which can be converted into a family room and another on the ground floor with access to the gardens. Roslyns has 4 stars and a gold accolade awarded by Quality in Tourism.

Oakthorpe and Lamplighter Bar- In the heart of the town of Windermere, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Lake District, this attractive Victorian building is now a family-owned guest house and pub. Close to all that the town has to offer, the Oakthorpe and Lamplighter Bar has a good location, only a two-minute walk from Windermere Railway Station and just off the A591, which runs right through the Lake District. Lake Windermere is just 5 minutes away by car or only a 15-minute stroll from the front door. There is a large, free car park. The Bat & Ball Inn has a great bar, with an enormous collection of cricketing memorabilia. With pine tables and flagstone floors, the bar has a cosy and comfortable feel. You can enjoy an excellent selection of hand-pulled ales including LBW, Marston's Pedigree and a weekly changing guest ale. The restaurant has a great reputation for serving fantastic food, with seasonal menus offering good quality and value for money.
