Duke Of Wellington Inn- The Duke of Wellington is an ivy-clad traditional eighteenth century inn located in Danby, near Whitby. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Moors, Whitby and the coast. Built in 1732, the Inn was used as a recruiting post during the Napoleonic Wars. An iron plaque of the Duke of Wellington was recently uncovered on the outside of the building and has been mounted on the fireplace in the bar. Restoration and refurbishment has improved the facilities whilst maintaining the character and charm of this traditional country inn.

Red Lion- Built in the 1700s, The Red Lion is a country inn offering a comfortable, friendly environment 2 miles (3.2 km) from the A5 and close to the M69, M1 and M6. The inn has beamed ceilings and open fires, and a car park for up to 35 cars. There is free Wi-Fi available throughout. Many shops and restaurants are in the local area and the hotel is a 2-minute walk from Earl's Court Station. Heathrow Airport can be reached via the Piccadilly Line of the Tube. Attractions such as the Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and the museums are easily accessible. Green Court Hotel offers easy access to the West End, the Theatreland, Hyde Park and the famous shops of Oxford Street and Knightsbridge. The hotel does not have a lift.
