The Gables - This small, cosy, family-run guest house has a quiet location close to the conference centre, the main exhibition halls and local amenities. Blossoms York - Blossoms York is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the city's historic attractions. Set in a Georgian townhouse on a leafy avenue, a warm welcome awaits you. Located in a quiet residential area, yet only 5 minutes walk from the historic bar walls, and 8 minutes walk from York Minster. Restaurants, bars and shopping, are all close at hand; we are in an ideal location for exploring York. We pride ourselves on offering a good service combined with value-for-money prices. Note: prices are generally (but not always!) cheaper from Sunday night to Thursday night. In addition, York's city centre and tourist attractions are less busy midweek. If your plans are flexible, why not come midweek, when you can stay a day longer and enjoy more of what our great city has to offer! We also regularly offer special rates if your stay is for 3 nights or more.

Holmwood House Hotel - Backing onto a pretty square, this Grade II listed house within a Victorian terrace has been lovingly restored to retain the ambiance of a private home with elegant rooms. Holmwood House features a comfortable sitting room with an open fire. Breakfast is their speciality, with a wide selection including Craster kippers. Special diets can be catered for with prior arrangement. Holmwood House is west of the city walls, which are just a short walk away. The wonderful York Minster and The Shambles, as well as the Jorvik Viking Centre, the Railway Museum and many other attractions are within easy walking distance. It is also conveniently located for the railway station, for easy access to the Yorkshire countryside, Scarborough and Whitby, as well as the beaches at Filey and Robin Hood's Bay, and the uplands of the Wolds, the Moors and the Dales.

The Scarborough Travel and Holiday Lodge - This budget lodge-style accommodation is a 10-minute walk from the town centre and 800 metres from the Spa Complex and South Bay. The Scarborough Travel and Holiday Lodge was 'Highly Commended' in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast Tourism Awards 2008 for 'Outstanding Customer Service'. There is a free off road car-park, pool room and patio area. Family rooms can sleep up to 5 people: 2 adults and 3 children, or 3 adults. Crosby's Bar has recently been refurbished, and the rustic French-style 'Funny Onions Bistro', serves breakfast dishes and evening meals made with local produce. The lodge has over 10 years experience with educational visits. Group bookings are taken by prior arrangement.

Talbot House - Situated in Pateley Bridge, this charming B&B is set in the spectacular countryside of the Yorkshire Dales, in the Valley of Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A wonderful base from which to enjoy walking, cycling and sightseeing tours, Talbot House is beautifully set within a grade II listed Georgian building. It has been restored and upgraded to offer all modern comforts, whilst maintaining its original character. Talbot House is both a haven for people needing a peaceful break and a true alternative to the bustle of large cities for conference delegates, with Ripon and Harrogate just 25-minutes away, and Skipton within a 35-minute drive.

Dairy Guest House - The Dairy is a lovingly restored and upgraded Victorian town house, keeping its 19th-century character and original features. In central York, Dairy Guest House is less than 300 metres (300 yards) south of the medieval city walls. It is an easy stroll from York's many attractions and museums. Each individually styled room has a TV with DVD, hot-drink facilities, mineral water, hairdryer and alarm clock. You will also find toiletries and information folders. Some rooms have ceiling fans. Dairy Guest House was originally a family home and joinery business, built in 1890. It then became a dairy for many years, until being turned into a guest house in 1978.

Bishops - Bishops is not a hotel, but a 5-star Guest Accommodation. This restored Victorian villa has individually designed en suite rooms and comfortable, family-run surroundings. Relax with a delicious Yorkshire breakfast, served in a sunny dining room with views of the gardens. Alternatively, unwind with a newspaper or simply soak up the sun with a drink in the licensed conservatory. Bishops is within walking distance of many of York's main attractions. Free off-road parking also makes Bishops an excellent base for exploring Yorkshire's countryside and coastline.

St George's - St George's is a family-run bed and breakfast with 10 individually decorated en suite bedrooms. This Victorian house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac across from York's racecourse. It is a 10 minute walk to the city walls but less to the start of York's many wonderful eating places. From here to get to the city center you can either walk round on the walls at Micklegate Bar towards the spectacular ancient Minster or under them where the shops start. Both ways take around a further 10 minutes, so it is 20 minutes walking from us to the middle of town. Our emphasis is on friendliness and cleanliness. We offer full English breakfast in the dining room or relax and take advantage of our breakfast in bed at no extra charge.
